Prices for the generation of sheet music and instrumentation
My work is priced by industry standards for freelance music commissions.
For more extensive individual commissions to produce sheet music and new music editions, special price arrangements are possible.
As a rule the following pricing criteria apply:
Creation of sheet music: 0.04€ / item, i.e.:
Full score: average page for large orchestra: about 20 €
Full score: average page for small orchestra or ensemble: about 16 €
Average page for orchestral part: about 5 – 7 €
Average page for piano reduction or vocal score: about 14 €
Orchestration, instrumentation, arrangements:
Large orchestra: 6 € / bar
Small orchestra or ensemble: 4 € / bar
Piano reduction from full score: 3 € / bar
For large-scale commissions special price arrangements are possible.
Proofreading of already printed or produced sheet music:
18 € / hour
Format and shipment
Any usual paper format (such as A4, A3, A5, B4, B5, Folio, Quarto, Octavo, American letter, etc.)
Original Finale file and/or pdf
Electronic and/or mail
Finalized print, or casebound (subject to extra charge)
Copyright (and thus responsibility for any possible infringement of rights incl. copyright) is the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery is after professional proofreading, with the aim of achieving full accuracy. Any remaining mistakes in the material will be corrected at any time and free of charge.
